Santa Shuffle 5K

Today my mom and I ran a 5 km Santa Shuffle run at the running room in Newmarket. The weather wasn't too bad it was about 0° and felt like -4. Although with a head cold the weather didn't matter. It took us a while to get our race kits because everybody decided to pick them up last minute so we were lined up for a bit when we got there. There seem to be a better turnout this year than last year so I'm told. That's great news especially since it's for a great cause, the Salvation Army. I ran this race with my mom, here's our postrace selfie.

This is what came in our race kit. I paid an extra $15 to get a Cotton race shirt. Overall it was a pretty fun race.
